"We are vulnerable, but we don't want to be reminded of that. We want to believe that the world is understandable and controllable and unthreatening, that if we follow the rules, we'll be okay. So, when this kind of thing happens to other people, we need to put them in a different category from us. We don't want to resemble them, and the fact that we might is too terrifying to deal with. So, they have to be monsters."

That's so sad...

-sigh- I've heard of many accidents like this... I just don't understand how on earth someone could forget about their child... And then dealing with knowing that their own child's death was their fault... It's just depressing...

That is heartbreaking, I've read many stories about how people forget their children in cars... It's incredibly sad, and I don't know how any of those people don't jump in traffic because of the despair lodged into their heart, just to get it over with.

I also read a story about a two year old boy you died in a carnival when he ran through a barrier and a roller coaster hit him.

Sad. I think I'll keep my children attached to strings so I always know where they are.

the writing is amazing and it breaks down what people feel on a deeper level to me...the quote you did use..infact is the part i like the most, becase many people would think that he is a bad person for letting what happened happen, but truth be told mistakes are always maybe...i guess it is just how people are raised ot bash a person who makes a bigger mistake thta is why usually you see them as treibble..;__;''
