Awww I love this scene in The Lion King. Im sure all of you Disney fans out there remember the part where Nala and Simba finally reunite and they go tumbling down that hill in the jungle. ^_^ It was so cute that I knew when I was rewatching the movie a few months ago that I had to draw it. It was set up perfectly for a three panel comic, and I loved the adorable expressions.

Also as soon as I saw it the first thing that jumped into my mind was Sora and Riku... and the idea was just too unbearably cute to pass up. (Seriously watch the excerpt from The Lion King that I got this from and picture it as Riku and Sora instead X3) Besides, I was wanting to eventually draw an adult lion!Sora and Riku anyway... because somebody HAD to. Thats my original design of what I think lion!Riku would look like, which came out better than I thought.

Practicing Disney style animals at the time that this was orginally sketched--and yes it was not traced because I hate tracing, and no I didnt find a screencapture to stare while doing it. I actually paused the video tape at each of the 3 scenes and had to do a really quick sketch before my VCR cut off after about 3-4 minutes of pausing. Needless to say, I was rushing so if its not perfect and the expressions are a little off--dont kill me.
